Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing tooling, jigs, or fixtures for production.
• Strong 3D CAD skills (NX) with FEMAP or ANSYS for analysis.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack‑ups.
• Familiarity with welding, machining, and assembly.
• Hands-on tool installation and commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement tooling and fixtures for weldment fabrication.
• Design lift/rigging tooling for heavy hardware up to 120,000+ lbs.
• Collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing teams for DFM/DFA and GD&T.
• Produce 3D models, drawings, and fabrication packages.
• Plan tooling layouts to integrate with scaling production floor.
• Support on-site installation, testing, and debugging of fixtures.
