Job summary

RINA North America is seeking a Staff Structural Engineer for our Houston, TX office. You will design, analyze, verify and support structural systems across buildings, infrastructure and industrial facilities, ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.

The role involves contributing to feasibility studies, basic and detailed design, technical reviews and construction support, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant structural engineering experience across buildings, infrastructure or industrial projects.
Proficient in structural analysis and calculations of loads, stresses, and materials with limited supervision.
Familiar with design tools: RISA 3D, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD; knowledge of codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, verify and assess structural works across buildings, infrastructure, foundations and industrial systems.
Review and contribute to engineering documentation for compliance with codes and project requirements.
Support certification, verification and engineering consultancy activities within scope.
