Lightmatter, Inc. in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Staff/Sr Staff Technical Program Manager for Hardware Systems. You will own the hardware program lifecycle across electrical, mechanical, and system engineering, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to drive programs from design through production.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in hardware PM, experience with EVT/DVT/PVT gates, and thrive in fast-paced environments. This role offers a hybrid work model and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of program management experience in hardware engineering.
• Direct exposure to electrical and mechanical development cycles.
• Experience coordinating with contract manufacturers (CMs) and ODMs.
• Hands-on experience with material flow, BOM management.
• Strong written and verbal communication with engineers and executives.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own program coordination across all HW Systems activities and maintain an integrated schedule.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between HW Systems and other teams; set agendas and capture decisions.
• Manage resource loading and capacity visibility; flag over-allocation risks.
• Build and maintain integrated program schedules with milestones and gates.
• Coordinate material flow and partner with supply chain to land critical materials on schedule.
• Track cross-functional deliverable dependencies and unblock downstream teams.
• Serve as the primary hardware program interface with external manufacturers and suppliers.
• Represent HW Systems in reviews and planning cadences; communicate schedule and commitments.
