Job summary

Lightmatter is hiring a Sr Technical Program Manager to drive hardware program execution across the Hardware Systems team, coordinating electrical, mechanical, and system engineering efforts. You will manage schedules, resources, and cross-functional alignment with internal teams and external partners from design through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of program management experience in hardware engineering.
• Experience managing concurrent engineering programs with shared resources.
• Familiarity with PCBA, mechanical enclosures, and production-enabling communication with engineers and vendors.
• Experience coordinating with contract manufacturers and ODMs.

Responsibilities

• Own program coordination across HW Systems activities and maintain an integrated schedule.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between HW Systems and other teams; capture decisions and follow up on actions.
• Manage resource loading and capacity visibility; flag overallocation risks and drive trade-offs.
• Build and maintain integrated program schedules reflecting EVT/DVT/PVT gates and dependencies.
• Coordinate with external manufacturers and suppliers to keep programs on track from design through production.
• Represent HW Systems in reviews and planning cadences; communicate schedule changes and material needs.
• Track HW Systems budgets and coordinate with finance and operations to ensure visibility.
• Adapt quickly to changes; maintain momentum and clarity when scope shifts occur.
