By combining our strengths, we’re accelerating innovation, supporting critical workflows, and delivering world‑class service across the biopharmaceutical and clinical markets.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software QA Engineer to provide quality testing for complex Windows-based software systems. This role owns test strategy and drives validation across the software lifecycle, partnering closely with engineering and product teams to prevent defects, improve reliability, and accelerate delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep experience testing C#/.NET applications, strong troubleshooting skills across multi‑process/inter‑process communication (IPC) architectures, and the ability to mentor engineers and champion best practices in quality engineering.

If you’re passionate about software engineering and want to be part of a team that is shaping the future of life sciences, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today!

What You’ll Do
  • Own and evolve the overall test strategy for Windows-based products, including test planning and coverage goals.
  • Define, implement, and monitor quality metrics (defect trends, coverage) and drive continuous improvement actions.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate requirements into testable acceptance criteria and robust validation plans.
  • Lead deep‑dive investigations of complex issues (logs) and provide clear root‑cause analysis in partnership with developers.
  • Drive release qualification: test execution coordination, go/no‑go recommendations, and stakeholder communication.
  • Evaluate and introduce tools and technologies to improve CI quality signals (test reporting, parallelization, environment provisioning, static analysis).
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience testing large‑scale or mission‑critical Windows applications, including defining validation strategies.
  • Experience with CI/CD and test execution in instrument environments.
  • Solid understanding of multi‑process architectures and IPC mechanisms, with the ability to validate concurrency, timing, and reliability edge cases.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills; able to influence without authority and drive alignment on quality.
  • Automation testing experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands‑on experience in software quality engineering for Windows applications.
Physical Requirements
