Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Endpoint Escalations, to serve as the technical backbone for the most critical customer incidents involving our Windows EDR agent. You will diagnose complex failures at the code and OS-internals level and represent engineering to customers during active incidents.

You will own escalations, perform deep root-cause analysis, modify or patch code when necessary, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver permanent fixes and improve

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience handling complex customer escalations and reading/debugging C/C++ code.
• Deep knowledge of Windows internals: kernel/user-mode, drivers, memory management, and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive resolution of the most complex escalated Windows endpoint issues.
• Perform deep root-cause analysis across Windows stack and C++ codebase.
• Read, debug, and patch code to resolve issues when needed.
• Act as primary technical point of contact during high-severity incidents for customers and leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, support, and product to implement permanent fixes and feed learnings into roadmap.
• Build tooling and runbooks to speed up future escalations and triage.
• Mentor teams on Windows internals and debugging to raise first-line triage quality.
