Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Staff Endpoint Software Engineer for Prompt (Python & OS Internals) to advance sensor components and GenAI security. You will own end-to-end problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and push for high-performance, low-footprint solutions across macOS and Windows endpoints.

Responsibilities include shaping adaptive policy logic, driving customer-focused fixes, and aligning engineering with roadmap priorities.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in Python, Node.js, or a comparable language.
• Experience with macOS and Windows Endpoint Security.
• Proficiency in OS architecture and internals.
• Strong customer orientation with ownership of problems and fixes.
• Business and product awareness with focus on roadmap and customers.
• Accountability and growth mindset with continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize sensor components for minimal footprint, high performance and reliability.
• Evolve AI capabilities by designing adaptive policy logic and expanding platform coverage.
• Own customer-facing technical problems end-to-end and unblock customers quickly.
• Translate roadmap context into engineering decisions to move the business forward.
• Collaborate across security engineering, QA, product, and customer teams to hit goals.
• Stay current with GenAI and platform security and integrate advances into sensors.
