DoorDash is seeking experienced engineers to join the Traffic team to build and operate the critical traffic infrastructure powering DoorDash's last-mile platform. You will work on the Envoy Data Plane, xDS control planes, and a hybrid, multi-region environment, reporting to the Engineering Manager of the Traffic Team within Infrastructure.

You will design, build, and maintain high-performance systems, solve latency and reliability challenges, and collaborate across teams.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer in infrastructure, networking, or platform engineering.
• Proficiency with Go, C++, Python or Rust.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Background with high-QPS or latency-sensitive systems.
• Able to work in ambiguity and solve problems independently.

Mansioni

• Design and build large-scale distributed systems that are high RPS and latency sensitive.
• Troubleshoot production issues and maintain SLAs.
• Collaborate with platform and product engineers to deliver features.
• Improve team productivity with automation and AI tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident investigations.
