DoorDash, Inc. is seeking Backend Engineers to work on Product and Product Platform teams. You will operate backend services and help scale a global logistics engine for a three-sided marketplace across consumers, merchants, and dashers.

This hybrid role involves in-office time and collaboration with an Engineering Manager to deliver robust, scalable systems and solutions. Strong backend and architectural skills are essential.

Formación

• B.S., M.S., or PhD in CS or equivalent.
• 2+ years backend experience.
• Experience with SOA and REST APIs.
• SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ).

Responsabilidades

• Develop, release and run large-scale web applications.
• Define backend architecture and tech stack for a product area.
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability and security.
• Transition monolithic codebase to microservices.
