Job summary
Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL is seeking an engineer to support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team, developing automation-related software for GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
The GWS system provides missile defense capabilities that protect and defend the United States of America.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience, or Master's Degree and 6 years of related experience, or 4 year of related experience with a PhD.
- Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS
- Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
- Post Test Analysis experience
- Familiar with Test Automation or Scripting (python or other coding language) to support test execution or analysis activities
- Must have an active Final Secret clearance or higher
Responsibilities
- The selected Engineer will support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team and is responsible for developing automation related SW development products in support of the GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
