Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL is seeking an engineer to support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GWS) program on the ATV team. You will develop automation-related software and contribute to the verification and validation activities for the GWS system, supporting MDA contract execution. A Final Secret clearance is required.

The role emphasizes technical planning, system integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years, or 1 year with a PhD.
Experience with SDLC components: design requirements, application development, integration, testing, deployment.
Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
Familiar with Agile software development using Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket.
Post Test Analysis experience.
Familiar with test automation or scripting (Python or other) to support test execution or analysis activities.
Must have an active Final Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

Develop automation-related software products for the GWS/ATV team.
Support the GWS contract execution on behalf of the MDA as an individual contributor.
Contribute to verification and validation activities across the system lifecycle.
