Job summary

deciBel Research, Inc. seeks an ATV Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL to join the GMD Weapon System team.

The engineer will develop automation-related software products and support test execution and analysis within the SDLC, working on-site and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires a DoD Secret or higher clearance, US citizenship, and strong communication skills, with experience in Agile methodologies, test automation, and requirements verification in a systems engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field from an accredited university.
• Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS
• Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
• Post Test Analysis experience
• Familiar with Test Automation or Scripting (python or other coding language) to support test execution or analysis activities
• Candidate must possess good communication skills
• Capable of working both independently and within team environments
• Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance
• Must be able to work in office, on site
• Experience with requirements decomposition and requirements management
• Degree in Systems Engineering
• Experience with Requirement Verification methods such as Test
• GMD Knowledge
• Demonstrated independent planning, organization, and working in cross-functional teams with a customer focus
• Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model
• Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science discipline(s)

deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an ATV Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL.

Position Description:

The selected Engineer will support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture and Delivery (A&D) Automated Test and Verification (ATV) Team and is responsible for developing automation related SW development products in support of the GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field from an accredited university.

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and at least 5 years of related experience, or a master's degree and at least 3 years of related experience, or 1 year of related experience with a PhD.
