Requirements

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Systems Security) to join our EMEA team, with 3-5+ years in systems programming. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader capable of providing strategic guidance and hands-on expertise in developing tools and SDKs for our confidential computing platforms. Deep understanding of security, software development, and team leadership is essential.

Location & Remote Options

• Preferred Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands; open to EMEA; US EST considered
• Remote Work: Yes

Key Responsibilities

• Be the subject matter expert on confidential computing environments, computer architecture, and systems
• Support software development on Confidential Computing platforms
• Enable remote attestation using low-level platform primitives
• Lead development of tools and SDKs for confidential computing
• Design and implement secure, high-quality software solutions
• Stay updated on emerging security and confidential computing technologies
• Participate in strategic planning aligned with business and technical goals
• Conduct code reviews and uphold high code quality standards
• Drive adoption of new development tools, methodologies, and processes

Basic Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience with C/C++, Rust, x86 or ARM assembly, and other high-level languages
• PhD or equivalent in Computer Security or Systems
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Contributions to open-source projects preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Confidential Computing tech (Intel SGX, AMD SEV-SNP, Intel TDX, etc.)
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Agile, DevOps methodologies
• Deep understanding of confidential computing environments, CPU architecture, and computer systems
• Experience with technologies like Rust, Linux containers, cloud platforms, and platform security
• Experience with remote attestation using low-level platform primitives
