Job summary

Celestica Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Staff Engineer, Software - SDK to lead switch silicon SDK development and integration for Celestica's data center networking switches.

You will port and enable merchant silicon SDKs across multiple Network Operating Systems and collaborate with HW/SI/QA teams. The role requires 9+ years of experience, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise in low-level software, CUDA/ROCm knowledge is a plus, and you will drive architecture decisions and SDK test

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions across multiple domains.
• Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers and act as a go-to expert in one or more areas.
• Review, interpret and negotiate customer requirements and provide feedback.
• Lead deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide efforts.
• Promote industry best practices and manage relationships with vendors/partners.
• Port switch silicon SDKs under ONL/SONiC/CentOS and drive SDK architecture decisions.
• Produce SDK design documents and drive API development.
• Develop SDK test scripts and APIs.
• Support FCT bring-up and track issues to resolution.
