Job summary

OpenC3 is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain COSMOS, an open source hardware integration platform. You will collaborate with a team to design, test, and deliver software, while engaging with customers to ensure successful adoption of COSMOS.

The role reports to the CTO and is primarily remote from the Denver/Boulder area with periodic in-person meetings. A Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of software experience, plus a US security clearance, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.
• Experience with open-source development and customer-facing software.

Responsibilities

• Execute full software engineering lifecycle from problem to deployment.
• Work with customers remotely and in-person to ensure success with COSMOS.
• Balance multiple goals through time management and communication.
• Contribute to OpenC3's technical roadmap and engineering processes.
• Stay up to date with industry advances and adopt best practices.
