Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a software professional to design, develop, and verify microservice-based software for space systems at our King of Prussia, PA site. You will work within agile teams to implement open-architecture, cloud-enabled solutions and ensure software standards are met.

The role requires hands-on development with Java/C++, JavaScript, C#, Python and container technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

Experience designing and documenting microservice-based architectures.
Strong presentation skills and clear communication.
Deep understanding of open architecture, cloud design and security principles.
Proficiency in Java, C++, JavaScript, C#, Python, and related languages.
Experience with Agile development, Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
Design, develop, test, and debug software following lifecycle standards.
Ensure software standards and quality across projects.
Collaborate with government customers and stakeholders as needed.
