Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead a team building customer- and associate-facing products. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support production applications while mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy.

You will contribute to architectural diagrams, tool selection, security, resilience, and performance. The role emphasizes collaboration with the product team to deliver reliable software and grow junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of site reliability engineering or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code tools.
• Strong front-end experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with security concepts, testing, and monitoring.
• Ability to design systems for high availability, performance and security.
