What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with Customer Support and other teams to enable successful engagement to investigate and solve challenging problems reported by our customers
  • Reproduce, diagnose, fix, validate and document progress and outcomes
  • Lead group triage, bug-fix and code review sessions, ensuring we provide quick, accurate and reliable solutions
  • Partner with Product teams, ensuring detailed knowledge of new and existing features enabling us to be subject matter experts and deliver first-class support for our customers
  • Apply best practices and ensure process adherence, providing regular constructive and honest feedback
  • Drive the resolution of escalated and more complex customer reported issues, and serve as an escalation point and trusted advisor for management and team members
  • Occasionally meet with customers and/or third parties to deep dive on challenging problems
  • Regularly prepare and deliver knowledge sharing and/or training to peers
  • Lead and/or contribute to strategic initiatives with little to no guidance
  • Proactively improve processes/approaches to deliver greater value to customers

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Experience supporting and developing enterprise software that exceeds industry standards for security, accessibility and user experience
  • Excellent experience with triage, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of software
  • Experience with any of our technology stack: AWS and AWS services including CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, React, node.js, CSS and HTML, C#, .Net; Databases: Relational
  • Superior problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lead and work well in a team environment and attitude to deliver on team specific goals and objectives
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities and change focus to deliver to varying expectations
  • Ability to drive results through your job competencies of collaboration, software programming and development, and technical problem solving
  • Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instills trust

Our side of the deal:

  • Every team member is required to have a career plan in place, to be reviewed with their manager after six months in our team.
  • The starting pay for this role is $110,000 per annum with 5% MBO.
  • Pay progression based on your performance.
