Job summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer - Network Triage and Test Automation. You will promote switch products, program manage, and collaborate with development and testing teams to deliver features.

This role requires networking knowledge, analytical thinking, leadership, and strong scripting with Python, focusing on end-to-end product development and platform-level integration with SONiC.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of network engineering experience with testing and validation.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/ISIS/MPLS).
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions leveraging SONiC to interface with hardware infrastructure.
• Create platform adaptation layers for integration between SONiC and hardware components (ASICs, BMC).
• Collaborate with hardware teams to expose hardware capabilities through SONiC interfaces.
• Lead code reviews and ensure high-performance data and control planes.
• Develop interfaces between SONiC and management/telemetry/diagnostics modules.
