QinetiQ US in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Software Developer to support the development of military hardware systems, including maritime and ground platforms. This hands-on role focuses on C/C++ applications for embedded systems and sensor integration.

You will work on a fast-paced engineering team, participate in design reviews, and help deliver software that enhances U.S. Military capabilities. A security clearance may be required.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus at least 3 years' hands on experience or an MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent plus at least 2 years' experience
• Experience developing C/C++ applications for microcontrollers
• Knowledge and experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Flexible, self-started, desire to solve any problem
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance if required.

• Work in a fast-paced environment, on a leading engineering team to deliver Maritime and Land solutions for the U.S. Military
• Assist in the design of new software subsystems and modifications to existing designs
• Implement well-defined software communication protocols for both internal and external subsystem communications
• Integrate sensors and other payloads to new and existing products
• Leverage AI to improve productivity
• Work with other engineering disciplines to solve complex problems
• Participate in software requirements reviews, preliminary and critical design reviews, and software acceptance reviews
• Develop products that have a meaningful impact on U.S. Military capabilities
