Job summary
Findhelp is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead architecture and end-to-end delivery of major platform features that power our mission to connect people with social care resources. You will mentor the team, drive design decisions, and own key services in a cross-functional context across product, design, and other engineering teams.
The role emphasizes deep technical expertise in Python and ReactJS, a microservices mindset, and cloud experience on GCP with Kubernetes.
Qualifications
- Lead technical execution of large-scale cross-team projects.
- Mentor engineers and raise overall team quality.
- Design and implement scalable services with a focus on performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack features end-to-end.
- Drive planning of new services with focus on scalability and security.
- Explore ML/data science to enhance matching and search capabilities.
- Deliver high-quality, well-tested code and engage in peer reviews and pair programming.
- Own features in production including monitoring, diagnostics, and post-launch improvements.
- Lead efforts to improve platform health through refactoring and modernization.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and other engineering teams as primary technical contact.
