Job summary

UKG is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Sunrise, FL team. You will drive technical strategy, lead large-scale projects, and mentor engineers across the organization while delivering high-quality software in a modern SaaS platform.

You will architect complex systems, oversee CI/CD, review code, and champion engineering excellence, telemetry, and DevOps practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship reliable, scalable solutions used by enterprises worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in programming languages listed in qualifications.
• Experience with software architecture, design patterns and scalable systems.
• Proven track record leading and delivering large-scale projects.
• Proficient with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Experience building telemetry/observability into development.
