Albert Bow is seeking a hands-on Staff Software Engineer in San Francisco to shape technical direction and own critical products across frontend, backend, architecture, and AI integrations. You will collaborate with founders, customers, product, design, and GTM teams to turn complex business problems into scalable, customer-facing solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience at a fast-growing startup (Series A to Series C).
• Experience building complex, customer-facing products.
• Experience leading technical decisions or major engineering initiatives.
• Strong expertise in modern web technologies, product architecture, or AI integrations.
• Able to work on-site in San Francisco five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction across architecture, reliability, performance, and engineering quality.
• Own and deliver critical products and systems end-to-end.
• Build across frontend, backend, full-stack systems, and AI integrations.
• Work directly with customers to translate complex needs into scalable solutions.
• Mentor engineers and support the growth of the engineering team.
• Help shape the technical strategy and product roadmap.
