LodgeLink is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Scottsdale or Calgary with deep expertise in frontend architecture to lead cross-stack design and platform initiatives. You will shape architecture, drive scalable frontend systems, and mentor engineers while collaborating across backend services and data platforms.

You will influence engineering standards, promote AI-enabled development practices, and guide teams toward resilient, scalable solutions.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience with modern front-end technologies built with ReactJS and knowledge of Golang, gRPC, microservices, and micro-frontends.
• 15+ years of progressive software development lifecycle experience, moving from execution to architecture ownership and leadership.
• 15+ years mastery of SDLC, SOLID, DDD, and clean architecture with pattern libraries in mind.
• 15+ years of cloud development patterns and best practices across architectures and industries.
• Strong backend competency with Golang, gRPC, microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• 5+ years API-first approach with loosely coupled systems and domain-driven design.
• Advocate for managing technical debt while maintaining code quality.
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

• Lead architecture decisions across full stack, including API design and cross-system integration.
• Define and evolve frontend architecture, design systems, and micro-frontend approaches where applicable.
• Drive platform engineering initiatives, tooling, DX, CI/CD, observability, and internal developer platforms.
• Integrate AI-augmented practices into the SDLC, including AI-assisted code review and AI-native testing patterns.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards and templates to scale products with performance and UX.
