Job summary

Seeq, a remote-first company, seeks a Staff Software Engineer - Developer Experience to shape tools, SDKs, APIs, and internal platforms that boost developer productivity. You will work across engineering and product to remove friction, automate pipelines, and deliver excellent documentation and samples.

You will lead initiatives, mentor teams, and promote best practices across the SDLC while communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on developer experience, platform tooling, or SDK development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including CI/CD tooling.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle and automation best practices.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Passion for improving developer productivity and creating intuitive developer tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain developer tools, SDKs, APIs, and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify friction points in workflows.
• Lead initiatives to automate build, test, and deployment processes (CI/CD).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Create and maintain high-quality developer documentation and sample code.
• Advocate for developer needs and foster continuous improvement.
