Job summary

Seeq Corporation is seeking a high-impact Senior/Staff-level engineer for a full-stack role, building and evolving our data analytics platform end-to-end. You’ll contribute across frontend and backend, from React UI to JVM services and databases, driving features with strong product sense.

You will mentor peers, adopt modern tooling like TypeScript and Tailwind, and explore AI-driven approaches to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years for Staff, 10+ years for Principal in software development.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Expertise in one or more backend JVM languages, such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Experience working with databases such as Postgres.
• Expertise in building large frontend applications with React or TypeScript preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend codebases, owning features end-to-end.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of features spanning the entire stack, from frontend to backend.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering to understand user needs and deliver high-quality software.
• Own features end-to-end, from UI experiences to databases and distributed systems.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team's quality through code reviews and pairing.
• Bring new technologies and AI-enabled approaches to accelerate outcomes.
