You will own architectural choices, guide performance improvements, and mentor engineers, shaping production quality and developer experience.

The role demands driving cross-team initiatives, advancing host provisioning, kernel upgrades, and resilience against zonal disruptions.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional experience building scalable, fault-tolerant products or platforms.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Go, C/C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript).
Experience leading large-scale engineering projects through entire lifecycle.
Experience weighing buy vs. build decisions and managing technical debt.

Responsibilities

Drive initiatives across platforms and cloud providers including host and volume type ingest.
Design and build end-to-end systems for orchestration, monitoring, or frameworks at massive scale.
Provide deep technical mentorship and ensure robust, secure architectures.
Create tools and frameworks to increase velocity and quality of internal teams.
Lead and mentor engineers, review code and designs, foster learning.
Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Operations globally on large-scale projects.
