Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building consumer-facing web products with strong UI quality and UX focus.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript; experience with Node.js backend.
• Care for user experience—latency, performance, and cross-device consistency.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for Claude product features and roadmap.
• Build and ship user-facing features for Claude’s web and desktop experiences.
• Own the quality bar for UI, latency, responsiveness, and reliability, advocating for UX early in the process.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs, scope features, and make tradeoffs.
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and internal testing to improve the experience continuously.
