Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the architecture and evolution of a next-generation toolpathing platform. This cloud-based system will integrate into the CAD-to-print workflow, balancing legacy production needs with modernized architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with on-premises and cloud-based applications.
Proven track record modernizing or rebuilding production systems.

Responsibilities

Define the architecture for a next-generation toolpathing system leveraging cloud elasticity for performance and scalability.
Design PLM integrations to create a seamless digital thread from customer request through manufacturing execution.
Partner with Product Owners and Scrum Leaders to translate architecture into executable plans.
Participate across the SDLC through design, development, review, testing, deployment, and support.
Lead modernization efforts while supporting legacy production systems.
Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
