Job summary

VulcanForms in the United States is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to serve as the senior technical bridge between customer product requirements and VulcanForms' manufacturing capability. You will assess feasibility early in the sales cycle, produce first-cut design concepts, and translate customer requirements into actionable documentation for our product teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in applications, sales engineering, or technical product roles in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to assess feasibility quickly and communicate tradeoffs to diverse audiences.
• Strong written communication; translate conversations into actionable documentation.
• Natural relationship-builder for senior customer-facing and sales conversations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and map to VulcanForms capabilities.
• Design first-cut product proposals and surface risks early.
• Capture and document customer requirements for NPI teams with clear translation.
• Partner with sales on proposals and act as senior technical presence in meetings.
