Job summary
VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Sr. Director of Additive Manufacturing Technology & Applications to drive an automated CAD-to-print workflow across its AM platforms.
You will lead DfAM, part feasibility, build preparation, and machine integration, coordinating with Digital and Factory Automation teams to deploy end-to-end solutions in production environments. The role blends AM technology, product development, and customer engagement, requiring hands-on leadership and strategic execution for scalable
Qualifications
- Significant metal additive manufacturing experience with laser powder bed fusion.
- Proven leadership of engineering, applications, or product development teams in advanced manufacturing.
- Experience automating engineering or manufacturing workflows with software teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the multi-year roadmap for an automated CAD-to-print workflow across AM platforms.
- Drive DfAM, part feasibility, and manufacturability analysis tools to speed up customer engagement.
- Implement build preparation capabilities and integrate with machine control and factory systems.
- Lead AM process and application development across current and future platforms.
- Provide program management leadership for remote deployed systems, including onsite support.
