Capital One is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive technical vision and cross-functional collaboration across cloud platforms and product teams. You will mentor engineers, lead architectural discussions, and contribute to scalable, secure solutions that improve customer experiences across digital channels.

You'll partner with ML, security, and operations, evangelize design patterns, and help recruit and grow Capital One Tech talent while delivering practical, reusable software solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
7+ years in software engineering and architecture roles.
Experience with cloud platforms and data architectures.
