Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in McLean, VA to shape the cloud-enabled banking platform. You will lead technical direction, decompose complex problems, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, ML, and people leaders to deliver high-impact solutions.

You will act as a trusted advisor on performance, scalability and operability, evangelize best practices, and share knowledge through code samples, blogs and internal/ external channels to strengthen Capital One’s

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; 7+ years in software engineering and solution architecture.
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and data architecture.
Strong knowledge of web technologies, mobile platforms, and security engineering.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture and design patterns.
