Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to influence design and code construction for the CVS Retail Pharmacy systems. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle, leveraging Java, microservices, and cloud technologies to deliver scalable, reliable software.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in enterprise/web development, strong REST/Spring Boot experience, frontend skills with React/Node.js, and solid database knowledge, all within Agile teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise/web applications.
• 5+ years as a full stack developer in Java-based tech including microservices and Spring Boot/REST.
• 5+ years of Cloud experience (Azure, GCP or other public cloud).
• 2+ years of experience with React JS, Node.js or similar frontend frameworks.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze techno-functional impact, design and code for CVS Retail Pharmacy systems.
• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle to deliver robust solutions.
• Mitigate risks and ensure quality and reliability of releases.
