Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a technically broad Staff engineer for the Delivery & Deploy team within Release and Delivery Engineering. You’ll tackle complex platform problems, design scalable architectures, and guide thousands of engineers through CI/CD pipelines and automated release tooling.

You’ll own end-to-end system design, mentor engineers, and influence cross-organ technical conversations to drive safe, efficient software delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Requires broad technical leadership experience across large-scale platforms.
• Ability to own complex platform programs including resilience and disaster recovery for CI/CD infrastructure.
• Proven track record writing design documents and aligning multiple stakeholders.
• Experience driving adoption of automated release safety mechanisms across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical direction across delivery and deployment platform capabilities, setting the architectural roadmap.
• Lead design-to-production on cross-team initiatives, author design docs, align stakeholders, and own delivery to production readiness.
• Own critical platform programs including resilience and disaster recovery planning for CI/CD infrastructure and release safety adoption.
• Build and evolve CI/CD tooling with pipelines, build systems, artifact management, release automation, and developer-facing interfaces.
