Job summary

Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join a small, scrappy team in San Diego. You’ll design, build, and iterate on student-facing experiences, partnering with curriculum and design, as well as the broader AoPS engineering organization.

This role requires 4+ years in full-stack web development with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL, and it offers a hybrid schedule, relocation support, and a compensation range of $190k–$210k.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional full stack web development.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to lead and coach on design and code.
• Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.
• Proven track record delivering consumer web experiences.
