Job summary

HCVT is building a new Azure-based platform to modernize applications. The Staff Software Engineer will lead architecture, coding, and modernization efforts, focusing on C#/.NET on Azure, multi-tenant security, and scalable patterns.

You will partner with Azure Cloud Engineer, IT, security, and network teams to implement reusable APIs, secure identity, and compliant data handling across the platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating production apps and services.
• Experience architecting multi-tenant apps with data isolation.
• Hands-on Azure PaaS development and modern cloud patterns.
• Strong security focus: authentication, authorization, encryption.

Responsibilities

• Own the target-state architecture for the new platform.
• Define a canonical work model and composable module architecture.
• Design multi-tenant isolation for external client users.
• Build integration patterns and adapters to third-party platforms.
• Maintain idempotent write-back, drift detection, and resilience.
• Modernize on-premises/legacy apps to cloud-native patterns.
• Lead application data design and migration with controls.
• Set engineering standards and provide hands-on leadership.
