Reframe Systems in Massachusetts is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own the core of our design automation platform. You will transform high‑level designs into manufacturing‑ready models and production plans for our microfactories, acting as a senior hands‑on technical leader.

You'll decompose messy domains into clean abstractions, design pipeline stages and verification gates, set technical direction, mentor teammates, and explore AI integrations to advance an increasingly automated,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or electrical engineering; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience building production software.
• Strong software engineering experience with Go, Python or C#, including automated testing and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerized deployments (EC2, Lambda).
• Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to deliver reliable code at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the core design automation pipeline to manufacturing outputs.
• Decompose messy domains into clean abstractions and cut scope judiciously.
• Design pipeline stages, intermediate representation, and verification gates.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineers.
• Leverage AI to build and utilize the system.
