Job summary

Reframe Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to redesign how construction projects are managed, delivering an end-to-end software experience. You will own the data model, build full-stack applications, and apply AI to unstructured processes, partnering with factory software and design automation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years building production software.
• Strong full-stack engineering, ideally in Python and Typescript, including automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring and alerting, and root cause analysis.
• Track record of gathering requirements and owning problems end to end, working with users.
• Experience building internal tools for non-technical operators with adoption.
• Comfort with data modeling, pipelines, and warehouse work.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and containerized deployments.
• Experience using coding agents to prototype and accelerate development.
• Comfort shipping across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own how a project flows through our systems from initial customer conversation to factory build and every handoff in between.
• Design the underlying data model and system of record so all functions share one source of truth.
• Build full-stack applications that automate manual, document-driven processes for operations teams.
• Define data contracts and interfaces between business functions for engineers and agents to use.
• Apply AI to unstructured parts of the process to drive production value.
• Collaborate with other software teams to align planning and production data for continuous improvement.
• Set the technical direction for system evolution, including build vs buy decisions.
• Work with user teams to identify high-leverage problems and scope them for delivery.
• Mentor and grow team members to shape the software engineering culture.
