Job summary
Qualtrics in Seattle is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Analytics Platform. You will design, build, and operate scalable data-intensive services enabling analytics across the Experience Management products.
You will work on high availability, throughput, and data processing at scale, collaborate across teams, and contribute to architecture, coding, reviews, and on-call rotations. This role offers a base salary range of $176,500 to $214,000 USD, with full-time benefits, sign-on and RSU
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; strong fundamentals in CS.
- Experience with distributed systems across large-scale data processing pipelines.
- Proficiency in algorithmic thinking, data structures and data modeling.
- Experience with open source data processing, storage, and serving technologies.
- 8+ years of meaningful software engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, robust, and highly available data-intensive microservices.
- Collaborate with UX, TechOps, Product to deliver valuable features.
- Design and implement features, optimize performance and reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotations and drive architectural improvements.
