Lightfield is seeking an experienced engineer to lead ambitious projects that turn complex business data and AI capabilities into powerful product experiences. You’ll work directly with customers, shape solutions, and take ownership from inception to impact.

You’ll help shape product direction, lead major engineering projects, and deliver exceptional results through hands-on leadership. The role emphasizes building reliable, scalable systems and mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping software products with strong full-stack engineering skills.
• Proven technical leader who can independently scope, plan, and drive projects.
• Strong product judgment and ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into solutions.
• Rigorous, analytical thinker who uses data to evaluate solutions.
• Care deeply about engineering craft, with high standards for reliability and maintainability.
• Excited about LLMs and building intelligent systems and product experiences.
• Strong fundamentals developed through CS degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand problems with customers, founders, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead end-to-end projects from design to launch and iteration.
• Build AI-native products that turn business data into actionable insights.
• Develop reliable, high-performance systems with observability and metrics.
• Lead technical design discussions, mentor engineers, and drive code reviews.
• Help recruit and grow a world-class engineering team.
