Job summary

ServiceTitan is building the Developer Platform for enterprise-scale SaaS. The DevEx team focuses on AI-assisted development tools and runtimes to help engineering teams operate at AI speed. This Staff Software Engineer role requires 10+ years and advanced engineering level across squad-scale systems.

You’ll lead architecture decisions, own major components, and mentor engineers while partnering with senior leadership to turn strategy into shippable infrastructure.

Qualifications

10+ years in software engineering with staff-level experience.
Hands-on experience with AI/agent tooling beyond basic automation.
Experience shipping large-scale CI/CD systems and developer portals.
Proficient in containerization and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Make core architectural decisions across the DevEx platform.
Lead investigations and guide refactoring for distributed systems.
Deliver code with strong tests for scale, performance, security.
Own major components and mentor engineers.
Collaborate with Principal Engineer/EM on multi-quarter plans.
