Job summary

Sivadconsulting seeks a Staff Software Engineer in a hybrid San Francisco, CA role. You will be the technical anchor, writing and reviewing code daily, mentoring three junior engineers, and guiding architecture for AI agents that accelerate clinical trials.

You will own end-to-end AI features, collaborate with the CTO, PM, and customer success to ship zero-to-one products for a platform used by 400+ research sites, shaping engineering culture at a seed-stage company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack product engineering with AI/LLM features.
• Has been the tech lead or de facto technical anchor on an engineering team.
• Hands-on, end-to-end ownership of features from frontend to backend.
• Mentor and raise the bar for junior engineers and code quality.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product, customer success and leadership.
• Experience shipping customer-facing AI products and zero-to-one features.

Responsibilities

• Own and build AI-powered products end-to-end from ideation through shipping.
• Serve as technical lead and mentor a three-person engineering team.
• Partner with CTO, PM and customer success to shape product direction.
• Architect and deliver full-stack applications across frontend, backend, infra and data pipelines.
