Job summary

Morgan Pinnacle Group in San Francisco seeks a Staff Software Engineer to anchor AI products and technical leadership. This hands-on role requires building AI-powered features, leading a small team, and establishing engineering standards from ideation to production.

You will mentor three junior engineers, collaborate with the CTO and product teams, and deliver full-stack solutions across frontend, backend, and data pipelines in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Approximately 8–15 years of experience in full-stack product engineering.
• Experience serving as a tech lead or de facto technical anchor for an engineering team.
• Track record of leading major technical projects and coordinating the work of other engineers.
• Strong hands-on full-stack capabilities across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Recent experience launching LLM-powered features or AI agents into production.
• Experience owning products through the full development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own and build AI-powered products from initial concept through production launch.
• Develop LLM-powered features, AI agents, multi-step workflows, and production evaluation systems.
• Architect and deliver full-stack applications across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and data pipelines.
• Serve as the technical lead and engineering anchor for a small, growing team.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for code quality and processes.
• Partner with CTO, product, and customers to identify new product opportunities.
