CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions within the Cost Estimation & Navigation AI portfolio. You will lead architecture across distributed services, APIs, and platform components to enable scalable, secure, and maintainable systems on Google Cloud Platform.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale software in distributed systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Java, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• 5+ years of hands-on design, build, and operation of cloud-based enterprise solutions.
• 5+ years in modern microservices design, scalable APIs.
• 3+ years CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps practices.
• 3+ years containerization/orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI/GenAI platforms and applying capabilities in software.

Aufgaben

• Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable software within Cost Estimation & Navigation AI portfolio.
• Drive architecture for distributed services, APIs, and platform components for scalability and security.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to translate priorities into production solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across complex initiatives and manage dependencies.
• Design and enhance cloud-native apps, microservices, and APIs with modern patterns.
• Ensure non-functional requirements: performance, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate architectures and recommend improvements for reliability and operability.
• Lead PoC development and explore AI/GenAI technologies for portfolio needs.
• Apply data & analytics knowledge including orchestration, non-relational stores, and caching.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence through code/design reviews.
• Communicate with stakeholders to align across teams and boundaries.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements (PII/PHI).
