CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to design, build, and deliver cloud-based applications within a complex distributed system on Google Cloud Platform. You will lead architecture, mentor engineers, and ensure secure, scalable solutions across the Cost Estimation & Navigation AI portfolio.

You will collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to translate business needs into production-ready software, focusing on reliability, performance, and long-term

Qualifications

7+ years delivering enterprise-scale software in distributed systems.
5+ years in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, JavaScript).
5+ years designing, building, operating cloud-based enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and delivery of scalable software within Cost Estimation & Navigation AI portfolio.
Drive architecture across distributed services, APIs, and platform components for scalability and security.
Partner with product, data science, and engineering teams to translate priorities into production-ready solutions.
