Job summary

Pebl is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Growth Engineering team. You will drive architecture and delivery of scalable, user-facing systems built with React, TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS, while advancing an AI-native approach across the development lifecycle.

As a technical leader and hands-on practitioner, you will mentor teammates, champion quality, and shape AI-powered product experiences that improve acquisition, activation, and retention across Pebl's global platform.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software engineering with full-stack depth in React/TypeScript and backend systems.
Experience designing and building AI-first, user-facing product features.
Hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, and implementation of complex, scalable full-stack systems.
Design and ship AI-first user-facing product experiences driving growth.
Champion an AI-native engineering culture and integrate AI tooling into workflows.
Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to define technical roadmaps.
Set coding standards, system design, testing, and process improvements.
Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure high-quality deliverables with rigorous reliability and observability.
