Job summary

Juniper Square is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead technical direction and architecture across the Treasury platform. You will write production code while shaping the team’s strategy, roadmap, and growth, collaborating closely with product, design, and QA to deliver complex workflows.

The role emphasizes AI fluency and scalable engineering practices. Ideal candidates have 12+ years in backend or full-stack roles, deep expertise in server-side languages, and experience with cloud-native

Qualifications

12+ years of backend and/or full-stack software engineering with leadership responsibilities.
Portfolio of shipped production systems with tangible technical decisions and code contributions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Own technical direction and architecture for your domain’s systems from design to production.
Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive implementation while evaluating tradeoffs.
Build and deliver end-to-end roadmap projects with hands-on coding and testing.
Foster AI-fluent SDLC practices and integrate AI-native tools to boost team velocity.
Mentor engineers, establish scalable coding standards, and collaborate with product/design/QA.
