Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own end-to-end design and delivery of complex treasury infrastructure. You will lead event-driven architecture, partner with platform teams, and set engineering bar across the team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring; experience with streaming frameworks is a plus.
• Proven ability to design and operate reliable event-driven financial/transactional systems.
• Commitment to automated testing across integration and end-to-end levels.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases and schema migrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to drive alignment with stakeholders.
• Track record of proactively identifying and managing delivery risk.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and delivery of cross-system initiatives spanning reconciliation and rule execution.
• Partner with platform teams to translate business requirements into robust designs.
• Build and maintain production-grade services with automated test coverage.
• Document architecture decisions and maintain alignment across delivery stages.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring for engineers.
• Identify delivery risks and propose recovery plans and actions.
• Navigate ambiguity, document assumptions, and drive stakeholder decisions.
