Job summary

Carta is seeking a Staff Engineer to anchor the Middle Office's technical health and strategic direction. You will own platform reliability and architecture across domains, partnering with product and other teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Based in San Francisco, this role focuses on AI-enabled portfolio data, portfolio valuation, and multi-entity fund forecasting, with a strong emphasis on system design and mentoring engineers.

• Bridge technical gaps by aligning cross-functional teams on major technical decisions.
• Define the AI frontier and build rails for safe AI adoption.
